MINO 2-HI HOT ROLLING MILL WITH EDGER

The hot rolling line consists of a MINO 2-High Reversing Hot Rolling Mill
equipped with an edging mill for width control. The mill is designed for heavy
reduction of stainless steel and specialty alloy slabs while maintaining
excellent dimensional accuracy.
The mill occupies approximately 700 m and is equipped with a total installed
electrical capacity of 3,200 kW (1,950 kW + 1,250 kW, 600 Volt).
Rolling lubrication is provided through a 1% Quaker emulsion system. Roll
positioning is accomplished through mechanical screwdowns combined with
hydraulic passline cylinders.

Coil diameter: Roller type coiler, 1,600 mm
Strip width: 560-1,052 mm
Entry thickness: 280 mm
Exit thickness: 17.5 mm
Maximum rolling speed: 120 m/min

Included with the mill is one complete spare set of roll chocks and bearings.
